Answer:

DePaul has a site license for the EndNote citation management software. EndNote is available on all the lab machines, but is also available for download for home use. EndNote software for students, staff and faculty is now available only from DePaul’s webdrive at: https://webdrive.depaul.edu/ . Faculty/Staff should follow this path: W:\software\Faculty-Staff. Students should follow this path:W:\software\Student

EndNote Find Full Text Feature

EndNote includes a Find Full Text feature that allows it to locate full text from DePaul Library resources when available.  In order to enable this feature, there are settings that must be configured within EndNote.

  1. In EndNote, navigate to Preferences --> Find Full Text
  2. In the OpenURL Path, please enter: http://an6tq9pg6n.search.serialssolutions.com/
  3. Under Authenticate with, please enter:   http://ezproxy.depaul.edu/login
  4. Check all available boxes to search across sources

EndNote Configuration

If you are a user of Firefox, there's also a very handy free browser extension called Zotero. Zotero allows you to store and organize citation information, generate formatted bibliographies, and supports a cite-within-the-document feature for Microsoft Word and OpenOffice. For support and documentation information, check out Zotero's support page on their website.
