Answer:

DePaul's Special Collection and Archives, located in Room 314 of the Richardson Library, contains primary sources in a variety of physical formats across a wide spectrum of subjects.

Records for the rare books, maps, and archival collections are searchable through the library catalog.

Archival collection strengths include Chicago and Lincoln Park history, social justice and the Catholic Left, women's and community advocacy organizations, the DePaul University Archives, and the DeAndreis-Rosati Memorial Archives, the archives of the Western Province of the Congregation of the Mission (the Vincentian order)

The rare books and maps complement the archival collections, with additional strength and depth in book arts, 18th and 19th century literature, Irish Studies, the Napoleonic Era, travel and exploration, Vincentian heritage, and historic maps depicting Chicago as well as countries and continents further afield.
